The Austonian

The Austonian is a 56-story, 178-unit condo tower at 200 Congress Avenue, completed in 2010 by Benchmark Development with architecture by Ziegler Cooper. It was downtown Austin's first true ultra-luxury high-rise and still holds that position today. Most residences are half- or full-floor layouts with private elevator vestibules, 11-foot ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling glass on three exposures. Amenities include a 75-foot lap pool, club lounge with billiards and a wine room, fitness center, 24-hour concierge, guest suite, dog park, and a screening theater. The Congress Avenue location sits one block from Lady Bird Lake and a short walk from the Long Center, the Convention Center, the Bullock Museum, and the Capitol.
